Total FM Support Services Ltd are committed to the provision of a quality business support service, which encompasses the professional delivery of multi services across a diverse market sector. Well- trained and supervised staff observing safe-working practices, which are designed to protect the health and safety of employees, customers and the public, deliver this successfully.
Total FM also recognise the need to take preventative measures to reduce the possibility of accidents occurring, and to reduce ill health arising from work.
To meet this target, Risk assessments of all cleaner activities together with the associated safe working methods, including Covid cleaning protocols, have been collated and reported, for viewing by staff and clients alike. In addition, Total FM operate site procedures for “Lone workers” and Pregnant Workers”. In conjunction with correct documented and recorded training, under the responsibility of authorised Supervisors and Managers, the arrangements for both materials handling, control of hazards and the communication of Health and Safety procedures not only comply with legal requirements but also help secure progressive improvements within the company.
All employees are reminded regularly that they have a personal responsibility for their own health and safety, and that of their colleagues and the public or clients who may also be affected by their work. They must therefore adhere to the safe working practices detailed in the Health & Safety Management policy and co-operate fully with their managers on any matter relating to Health and safety.
